Inspiration shoot – Shabby Chic scandinavian wedding with Pretty Chic Blog

So incredibly lucky to have met Elizabeth, the amazing woman behing Pretty Chic wedding blog. We put this little inspiration shoot amidst crazy schedules. And shot the pictures in crazy weather – it might be hard to tell, but it was raining, and extremely windy on the day of the shoot. Yet, we had an amazing time!

Enjoy some of the pics :)

Vanessa – Maternity session in Normandy, France

*To see a slideshow with all the photos from the session, please click here*

I was very busy with photo session during the holidays. But busy didn’t really feel busy. Because of clients like Vanessa and her husband and adorable daughter, who welcomed me in their house so we could share a few hours together, drink tea, chat…oh and yes, take a few pictures :) Vanessa was just radiating happiness, showing off her new sassy shorter haircut. She think it’s a sign that they are probably expecting a boy….time will tell us in March!

Charlene – Maternity session in Normandy, France

I love it when old friends hire to for a photo session. Because I get to do two of the things I love the most in the world: Take pictures. And chat. LIke, a lot :) Charlene and Jean-Marie are some old old friends. Jean-Marie and I used to throw snow balls at each other on vacation in the Alps with our parents. But life got busy for all of us, and I hadn’t seen them in a long time. They are today expecting their first child, so it was the perfect time to see them before little bundle of joy arrives in their home. We laughed a lot that afternoon, which made up for the gloomy rainy day.

So here are some picture of Charlene and her lovely bump. They are keeping the sex of the baby a surprise – oh they know what it is though, and you know me, I tried every trick in the books to get them to tell me…..but they didn’t say a word. So I can’t wait to find out in March when baby arrives!

Charlene, you are just beautiful!

Little Charles – Copenhagen, Denmark

*To see a slideshow with all the photos from the session, please click here*

Sometimes life is so right. It makes you cross paths with the most wonderful people, friends you know you will keep for years. It’s the case of Elizabeth. Elizabeth has the most wonderful wedding blog in Denmark, Pretty Chic Blog. And she also has the most beautiful baby boy, born last October. I visited Elizabeth during my last trip to Denmark, enjoy the photos I snapped of little Charlie and his (very happy and not-at-all tired) parents.

Les Poullinos – Normandy, France

*To see a slideshow with all the photos from the session, please click here*

It completely makes my day when clients come back to me a year or two after their first session for another session of their family. But Amelie, you see, she makes my year. She is way beyond the point of repeat customer – because of her, I am thinking about starting a point reward card, something like one free session after 20 bought ;) hehe. So you’ll see her face, and that of her family, and will probably recognize all of them because it’s not the first time they are on this blog. We had a great time playing in their house, and even ventured out because the weather was so gorgeous. Sorry about the overload of pictures here, but I just have too many favorites from this session with Les Poullinos :)

Petit Gabriel – Caen, France

*To see a slideshow with all the photos from Gabriel’s session, please click here*

A home filled with love. A beautiful, radiant mama. The most loving of daddies. They prepared his room, carefully, thoughtfully. To welcome him to this world the best way they could. In his little room, a crib. The crib in which his mama slept when she was a baby. And now, it is the turn of her little man. And what a handsome little man with that :) A little nose cute as a button, the smallest hands and feet…if I didn’t have my arms full already I would sure have taken him with me I tell you!

Sorry about the picture overload here…..but this little guy is so cute I couldn’t resist :) Thanks Chrystel & Guillaume for letting take pictures of your beautiful family. And thanks to Gabriel’s aunty, Claire…..hope the pictures will make being far away a little less hard :)

Clotilde’s pretty bump – Maine et Loire, France

*To view the slideshow with all the pictures from the session, click here!*

I’ve been friends with Brieuc for quite a few years now – not going to count how long, it would probably make me feel very old :D And now, he’s about to become a daddy. And I don’t think I could possibly think of better parents than him and Clotilde to raise to little man that they are expecting.

Clotilde looks just radiant with her pretty bump…look at all of her gorgeous smiles. She’s just a radiant mama, pregnancy fits her so well.

And now I can’t wait to meet the little one when he arrives in August!

Deux bambinos – Enzo & Sacha

*To view the entire slideshow from this session, click here!*

I arrived at their house, little Enzo had just woken up from his nap….this little boy was still sleepy, scratching his little eyes. Putting on his converse shoes was probably the last thing he wanted to do, so I thought I’d give him a hand :) And we made conversation about cats and butterflies, and before you knew it we became best friends – well, almost ;)

His little brother Sacha mostly found his happiness in his mama’s arms. That, and trying to stand against anything he could find. You see, he’d been able to stand for about 2 weeks, so of course he was quite pride of it and had to show it to the photographer – yes, I like to talk about myself in the third person, makes me sound important ;)

We played inside, we played outside, and had such a great time…..the session came to an end before I even realized! Here are some of my favorites pics:

Thank you so much, Aline, for inviting me to take pictures of your two little boys. No doubt they are going to grow up to be quite handsome, maybe we could arrange a wedding between them and my daughters? :D

Newborn session – Nuno’s sweet little girl

*To view a slideshow with all of the pictures from the session, click here!*

Nuno, whom I photographed with her beautiful bump at the beginning of April, gave birth to the loveliest of little girls -and so I carried my own “little” bump around Copenhagen for a chance to freeze this family moments together with their new little girl. I am not sure if it is the post-pregnancy hormones. Or the fact that this session was my last newborn session before Madeline was born. Or simply the fact that Nuno has two beautiful girls, and I just can’t help but see her love for my girls in the love she carries for hers. Probably a mix of it all. But let me tell you, every time I see the pictures from my session of Nuno’s beautiful little girls, I get teary eyes. I can’t help it, they just get to me. Call me a big baby if you want :)

Lots of pictures below, sorry, just couldn’t help it ;) In any case, hope you like the pics as much as I do!

xoxo, Audrey

Beautiful bumps – Nuno’s maternity session in Copenhagen

*To view a slideshow with all of the pictures from the session, click here!*

Nuno already has an adorable little girl named Elvira, and she is expecting another little girl for April 23rd – and I can’t wait to meet her when she arrives…..hopefully before my own little girl arrives! When Nuno first contacted me, she asked if Elvira should be around for the shoot, and I screamed “But of course!”. To me there is nothing sweeter than a mother and her daughter together, especially when another little bump is involved. Such magic.

One pregnant lady taking pictures of an equally pregnant lady….let’s just say that we took our time with Nuno’s maternity session and made it as hyggeligt as possible :) It was very much needed for the both of us!

Hope you enjoy the pics, here are my favorite pics of the session, and of course don’t forget to check out the slideshow to see all of them ;)

Elvira helping her mommy to put her shoes on (sigh). When I got home I asked Olivia if she could help me too…..she looked at me like “mmmmm but mummy, you’re the one supposed to help me!”

Nuno, I think you just look beautiful in these pictures!

And Elvira……you’re pure cuteness :)

We went up to the bedroom for the second part of our session. The light there was just divine, falling on Nuno and Elvira just the way I like it :)

Give me a little girl jumping on a bed ANY DAY! ha. life at its best :)
